OVESC has the capability to administer the ParaPro test at our Cambridge, Ohio
office.
Tests will be given at the OVESC, 128 E. 8th Street, Cambridge, OH 43725.
Attention Paraprofessionals / Aides: All Area School Districts
Qualifications for Paraprofessionals:
The paraprofessional must have met one of the following requirements:
A.) Completed at least 2 years of study at an institution of
higher education
(48 semester or 72
quarter hours)
B.) Obtained an associates (or higher) degree
C.) Met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate,
through a formal
state or academic assessment--(i)
Knowledge of, and the ability to assist
in instructing reading, writing
and mathematics; or knowledge of, and the ability
to assist in readiness for
reading, writing and mathematics.
PASSING THE PARAPRO
ASSESSMENT FULFILLS THIS REQUIREMENT !
